Ruskin Rugs is a small family business based in Norfolk, evolving from a hobby enjoyed by our Mother as her eyes failed. She made over 100 rugs over about 12 years, mostly for children’s bedrooms and for dog friends.

We attend various craft fayres and are always pleased to demonstrate the technique to anyone visiting our stall.

We also offer craft days and demonstrations at any appropriate venue.

We are particularly interested in participating at wellbeing events.

Our aim is to use as many sustainable materials as we can, both for the kits and the packaging. We are using mainly cotton and recycled yarns. Where necessary for the brighter colours we may be using cotton blended with acrylic.

In 2024 we are introducing some alpaca, wool, mohair and silk yarn into a luxury range.

Our canvas is a cotton blend.

We reserve the right to substitute yarn types if necessary depending on availability.

We don't currently have an online shop, but can take credit card payments by phone, and bank transfers are also acceptable.
